I am writing this dispatch from Bangalore, India, and have been here for a week. The traffic is still as chaotic as ever, and the hot weather in late February was an unexpected surprise!
The primary reason I wanted to visit this city is the people. It has been almost a year since I last visited, and I have been catching up with old friends to see what they have been up to.
Their experiences, passions, and the gleam in their eyes when they talked about something they built with their heart and soul into it inspired me. It made me want to find that thing I was truly passionate about.
I know I love writing. When I write, I feel transported to a world where it is just me, myself, and I with my words and thoughts, and I cherish that feeling. Can I do it for the rest of my life? Yes. Can I earn a living out of it? Still figuring that part out. 😅
Have you reflected on your passions and found something that makes you feel truly alive? Tell me how does it feel!
Articles
I spent this week mostly on freelance work and did not get much time exploring visionOS.
I do have some (not-sponsored) recommendations for you to check out. When I tried out Apple Vision Pro, I enjoyed working with my Mac display in the virtual world. But, as someone with a dual work setup, I wished for multiple displays.
And the creative developers out there already have an app for it! Splitscreen helps you with two Mac displays on your Apple Vision Pro!
There are some stuff that I want to explore over the next week. One is Spline, to create 3D designs, play with them in visionOS, and write a 101 post.
Another is going through the roadmap to Swift 6 this year. I am open to topic suggestions for the website, and if there is anything on your mind, let me know by replying to this email!

A shoutout to RevenueCat for sponsoring the website and this newsletter! I have been an unofficial advocate since 2020, using it for personal and client apps.
Their latest feature, Paywalls, helps you add paywalls in one line of code. I already used it at work, making it much quicker to iterate, edit, remotely configure and test your app's paywalls!
Quote of the Week
I slacked off on reading this week. I spent too much time scrolling on X and bookmarking many posts. One was about this journaling prompt, "What is the best mistake I made today?"
I recently had to push my plans back a week due to exhaustion from traveling more than usual. At first, I considered it a mistake as I could have prevented it by being more cautious. However, working from the hotel, I was able to catch up on a lot of pending work and plan for the month ahead. Now, I can excitedly meet my friends next week worry free!
